He had found him, the man from the shop had found Alec and he was petrified. "He really does want to kill me..." With a thud he saw the jack rabbits which were somewhat lifeless fall to the floor, Alec only stared in disbelief he had been searching for half an hour and found nothing and this guy had found 3 rabbits. He looked at the rabbits and then at the man then back at the rabbits. "How...How did you get them" He picked one up and it was still warm. "He must have just got these... Urm thanks I'll take this one." Alec walked over to a turned over bin nearby, the man staring not saying a word. Alec looked back occasionally to see if the man would still make a move. He cut the head and legs off of the rabbit and threw them into the bin, he then skinned the rabbit but making a mess of it and then threw that into the bin as well. Alec looked around for a bin lid and saw one on the other side of the street. He went over and picked it up, it was a little dinged but it would do. he then made sure that the surface was as clean as it could be and placed the skinned rabbit on it.
He looked for a meshed piece of metal but couldn't find one so he walked around the street picking up anything that would burn. He found pieces of paper and small sticks and then dropped them into the bin, looking in his pocket and pulled out a box of matches and opened it up, he only had 3 left. He took one and prayed that it would light the kindling. He struck the match and for a brief second the match stayed lit before going out. "Piece of crap..." He took another and make extra care to make sure that it wouldn't go out. He covered it with his hand and then moved it down in to the bin. He put it into some paper and it lit, It was small but it would be sure to spread to the other materials. With out a mesh he walked over to a tree and broke off a large stick. On his way back he looked at the man who hadn't moved a muscle since he took the rabbit, but was still looking at Alec.
Alec took the stick and stabbed the rabbit with it holding the rabbit by the stick he held it over the small fire and started to cook it. It would be the first time that Alec would have had rabbit so he just told him self it would be like chicken. It took a while for him to cook the rabbit but the fire didn't show any sign of giving out. He looked over at the man who still hadn't moved. "Hey! You wanna use this fire while it's still here? It's gunna go out soon!" He looked at his cooked rabbit and looked at it. Moved it towards his mouth and took a bite. It wasn't the most pleasant taste but it would have to to he looked away from his rabbit only to see that the man had moved almost next to Alec. The surprise made him jump a little but not like before. "I swear he was over there a second ago, how did he not make any noise?" He carried on eating his rabbit in silence.
