Vance took his time eating, but ended up finishing pretty quick. Come to think of it..he hadn't eaten since yesterday.

Just as the assistant was entering the office, and the nurse was going to check on the boy, the phone rang. He sighed and answered the phone, telling the woman to let Amanda and her friends in. The nurse had been expecting the student anyway. Then he hung up, and sat down to eat his own lunch.
