This was not the first time a human man had threatened Mitch. It would not be the last. Of course, that did not stop the elf from being defiant. Mitch was also smart though and thus was willing to listen to what to say, but speaking wasn't really an option. The collar still around Mitch's neck made that to painful to push through, at least for an extended conversation. "Mitch," that was enough of an answer for him wasn't it, but Mitch's voice came out strained and broken. This was not the sound of a being associated with elegance, instead, it was reminiscent of someone who screamed until they could scream no more. Mitch kept a neutral expression about the issue, showing none of the pain that existed in a single word. If his only use was for an obedient slave than he should have bought one of the broken ones. Mitch had no desire to play obedient, though maybe this could be used. There were goals Mitch had in mind and freedom was only an ends to a means.

While thinking about this the carriage lurched and Mitch drained of color. Carriages were always hard for an elf, the human contraptions were unnatural in the way that they moved. Puking with this collar on would be exceedingly unpleasant so Mitch sat back in an attempt to ignore the feeling.
