Farah spent a lot of time petting Nighta, enjoying the feel of his velvety nose brushing over her skin. The stablehands even let her brush out his coat until it shone over his thick muscles, and she smiled when he almost seemed to shimmer under the light from the sun. It was close to high noon by the time that she left a lightly neighing horse and happily waving servants to go back to the house. Camille tsked over the mud on her gown and the state of her hair, as the Royal carriage had been seen not far from the castle by that point in town. She took her mistress's gown and cleaned the hemline as well as she could, and it eventually was as good as new...for the most part.

Painstakingly, the maid cleaned out her long brown hair again, brushing it until it too shimmered in the sunlight. Once it was in order again, she braided her waist-length hairs into a net, then settled a beautiful but slightly suffocating veil over her lady's face. Her father had demanded that she keep her face covered until her beau had decided if he would marry her or not, and Farah could only hope that she was beautiful enough, docile enough, and sweet enough for the King and Queen to agree with the marriage that was hopefully to come to pass. It was her duty as a beautiful and eligible daughter, and she was lucky enough to have such a fine suitor to come courting with her. She didn't enjoy the net-like veil curling over her face, but she would do as she was told and no less. Her veil was looped back into the braided hair so that, when lifted up, it would curl down her back. At the same point, she would rather have her hair down because it was looser and nicer than against her head.

She had barely gotten her rings settled onto her fingers when there was a knock at the door. "They're here," Camille reported, then checked her charge on last time. "You are a vision lady. Surely they will all love you." Farah peered at herself and seriously hoped that it would be true. Her cool eyes, eyes the color of green, looked at her appearance...a future princess. Was that her lot in life? With a nod, she turned from the mirror and floated down the stairs and towards the entryway. Due to the design of the castle, she was still on the entry stairs when she heard the door open and the butler announcing the entrance of the royal family. Her cool gaze went to the prince, but she kept up her descent and went to her father, who was standing to greet the king with her mother beside him and her brother as well. All of them bowed and dipped as they gathered together so that the royal family could be properly welcomed into their home.
