He was fully ready to take care of it himself, when suddenly his wrist was taken ahold of. Then the other. He froze, looking down at the two hands that held his wrists, not in a threatening or painful manner. He did not feel threatened by it, or afraid at all, the amulet not acting up, as the other released his one wrist, to retrieve a hankerchief from his pocket. He said nothing, silent as the other used the piece of cloth to begin dabbing at his finger. He flinched for a moment, the sting building, but it slowly then began to subside. His eyes lifted, watching the other as he tended to his finger. He watched his expressions, his mannerisms. He was surprised, and...something else. He could not place what it was thought. For a moment it felt like the rest of the world faded a bit.

He ripped the cloth, placing it around his finger, before tying it. He glanced down at the little piece of cloth now upon his finger. The other's hand still on his, a warmth of its own behind it. Lingering on each other for a moment, before he let go. He was asked what that was, but Akio could not answer. The other running a hand over the wall, nothing would be felt upon it. He glanced at the wall himself, before back at him. It still felt odd, the hand curling in for a moment, against his chest. "Thank you..." he said instead of answering him, his eyes on Darius before him. The other had helped to ease a wound..even though it was nothing to serious or big. The other had decided upon trying to help him..on actually helping him...instead of some comment or something.

He was silent then for another moment, a warmth inside of him growing a bit as they stood there. He then realized that they were indeed a bit close, able to practically feel the warmth of each other's bodies. "Ah.." he took a step back, a flutter spurring in his heart. "I saw nothing..." he says, adverting his eyes to the wall once more. "Forgive me.." why he was apologizing, he did not know. Maybe because of what had happened, a bit of heat rising to his face with his embarassment. He turned away a bit, to hide a blush of embarrassment that might be rising to his cheeks. He had let the other get close to him again...the other had helped him, without being asked. He had given something of his own to clean and wrap the injury, not wishing for him to dirty his own scarf.

And he had liked it. Akio took a breath, his mind focusing on the feeling inside of him. He had liked the other close, helping him...he had found it kind and charming...almost...He stopped himself, pushing the thought from his mind, as he composed himself a bit. His hand once more aganst his chest a bit, without him even thinking about it. The other had not seemed to have minded or even thought about what had been happening. He could not make this all the more awkward with his foolish thoughts. The other was a demon, he a prince...a prisoner. This was foolish, very foolish indeed. He turned, looking to him. "Thank you though...for your assistance...you did not have to help me but you did, and for that I am grateful.." his eyes lingered on his for a moment, a light overhead casting a warm glow on him and catching in his eyes as he did so.

He gave a warm smile then, moving over to him. He reached out of his own will, taking his hand away from the hall. The warmth of their hands brushing together once more at the contact. "Probably just a clumsy accident" he chuckled a bit, "seems to be a human trait hmm?" He mused the words, poking slight fun at himself and within something that might happen to anyone. He held his hand for a moment, lifting it to look for a moment at it. "It might be odd...and out of place but...you are warm..." he placed his hand for a moment, so that their palms met, fingers aligning. They matched up well, though Akio's slightly smaller. "Stories picture demons as cold...in more than just soul and mind" he looked at him, "perhaps...."

He let the thought stop there, lowering his hand from the other's. "Sorry.." he chuckled a bit at his foolishness, turning back to the stairs. "Shall we move on then? Wasting time with my foolishness is not going to get us anywhere hmm?" he chuckled once more, glancing back at him for a moment. He placed a hand on the banistar at the end of the stairs. He let their eyes meet and linger once more, before he slipped away and moved up the stairs. Out of sight of the other for the moment, his eyes adverted, his mind wandering a bit once more. What was this feeling that was beginning to stir inside of him?
