The sun was rising, and Ovacinprilcia slunk low on the ground towards the cracked earth where it liked to hide from the light. It was still weak. The Darkness was still weak. All night, the glow of lanterns of light bulbs pervaded through forests and cities alike. Even the blinking lights of the fireflies had seemed to mock it. As the morning dew began to evaporate, Ovacinprilcia, likewise, began to disappear from view.

It silently moved deep into the earth to wait patiently for sunset. Ovacinprilcia always liked to watch the other elementals from its hiding place. Wherever a tree blocked the sunlight from reaching the ground, or a shadow lay beside a stone, Ovacinprilcia could find temporary invincibility.
