Axel forced his thoughts into order as he looked down at the second text. Apparently, Fane didn't mind him sounding a bit snippy. The conversation sounded so...ordinary. Still so ordinary. With that finished, he pocketed his phone and finally entered his car, feeling more than sober enough to drive home.
