Work went slowly despite it being a weekend and Raisel found himself trailing off into thought. He didn't let himself dwell much until now, but leaning against a smudgey counter, he consider what happened the night before. Or as much as he remembered. There always came a point where his memory cut off and friends would tell him they gave him a ride back, got a little strange. But he never remembered it so himself found it impossible to understand why he got that way. Oh well, he was still a normal person so it didn't matter.

Of course, running into Max wasn't in the plan. He remembered up to that point in the night and he remembered running into him and Jennifer. Though what he said? Not so much. It made him curious and a bit nervous and even more so pissed and dejected to think about what awful things he might have said if it went anything like it usually did with Josh. What would Max think? Raisel never meant to get drunk like that or screw up. He just did. He found himself dreading their next class even more than before.
