Lizzy awoke to the sound of shattering glass. She, in a panic, pulled her face from the bar, red marks from an unintended nap. Whirling around behind the bar, she tried to find what had caused the noise, but all seemed perfectly calm in the bar. Shaking her head, she stepped backwards. Crunch. Lizzy lifted her booted foot to see curved shards and a half-way shattered stem of a wine glass. She must have fallen asleep polishing it. Cursing herself, Lizzy headed back into the kitchen, picking up a dust pan and broom, then set to toil away, sweeping up the glassy pieces she had so carelessly caused.
