It is true. I know that there are times people think I am very unselfish, but inside I scold them for not knowing me well.
I'm currently watching the anime Fate Stay Night. The main character has one simple desire, to not let others get hurt. He doesn't think about, "oh, I might die." Instead he simply wants to help and protect others. I think he would be considered unselfish... unless you call his wish not to see others suffer for the pain that would cause himself selfish...
