The Festival of Winter Nights is always longer than a normal event, Sadrain. Because people are busy this time of year we give a few extra days, as we want folks to have more of a chance to participate in the contests and things. If we make the token earning too high, we'll have to price the EIs and commons higher to balance it out.

The earn rate will be adjusted if it looks like overall people are struggling. But it's too soon to fiddle with it. Please just try it before you panic. <3 Feedback after actually trying is a lot more valuable to us than balking at something before it even happens.
