Mischief had tried to make a comment before Genna sprung to action but she was away far too soon to stop her. Right away she played along some music that was equally lively as it was lovely and he could resist Della's coaxing to dance no longer. They joined the other merry-makers on the dance floor which was quickly growing crowded. No matter! Mischief grinned at Della and as they swung around again out stretched his leg and he kicked the most offensive table back and out of their way. This wouldn't have sat very well with those who had left their drinks on it so they might dance, and it definitely didn't sit well with the barkeeper who only caught enough of a glimpse of the act to watch him closely in case it was repeated... Which is was.

"You're quite good at twirling, Della, have you been dancing often?" Mischief grinned and swung the woman around only to catch her close and move back toward the middle of the dance floor. Throwing chaos into the once somewhat orderly arrangement of dancers added wonderfully to the madness in the room. People were bumping into one another and tables and chairs were being bounced outward here and there. Mischief grinned impishly when he and Della saw a quite lordly fellow trip over a table leg and burst into laughter when another dipped his wife over the back of a chair and, not knowing what to do about it immediately, left her hanging there for some moments. Of course he was smart enough not to be looking directly at the pair when he laughed, but it was certainly easy enough to find him doubled over with his hand on his stomach and just about convulsing in giggles if you had been watching for the little scoundrel.
