When Trey mentioned to Adam that he was making a face, Adam softened his glare a little. Just a little. To be frank, Adam was already feeling uneasy about being in Paris, normally he'd be fine, but with Trey following him, (or rather, him dragging Trey along) he felt the overbearing urge to nestle and protect Trey. After all, Trey's scent reminded him so much of Evelyn. Though, he couldn't tell if it was because he actually smelled like Eve, or if because Eve smelled like vampire.

Regardless of the reason, the bottom line was that Adam felt a strange connection to Trey. Perhaps even a strange obsession with the young man. Trey was a companion, something Adam desperately needed but was too proud to admit. Adam looked at Trey, not saying anything but simply walking off the dock, listening carefully to see if Trey was keeping up.

"Stay close." Adam wanted to say more. Like, be careful, Trey, this is Paris it's a huge city and if you're not careful you could be hurt, but no such luck. Adam sucked in a breath, taking in Trey's scent and enjoying it quite a bit. He was so much like Evelyn, indeed. Adam picked up his bag, taking off towards the dimly lit, yet still somehow very bright, streets. Adam walked slowly so that Trey could keep up.

As he came closer to the lamp posts, Adam noticed that there weren't too many people out and about. Of course, Adam's first plan of action would be to secure a place to sleep. Hopefully someplace comfy. Adam remembered Paris when the lamps were filled with gas lights. It was amazing to see how much has changed. Adam continuously checked behind his back to see if Trey was there. Of course, part of the plan of action would be to get Trey someplace safe to sleep, something... er, someone to eat and some new clothes.

"Here." Adam pointed to a dainty little apartment complex with a couple of lights shining through open windows. "I promised you a place to sleep, you can sleep there."
