The happiness in the song overrides my senses like a drug and makes me giddy. I want to skip down the streets and hum the tune with my arms linked to--

And then I come to the sad realization that I have no lover.

How disastrous! How am I to leap and prance about in joy and love? How am I to walk down the streets and grin ear to ear just because I'm in love? How am I to burst spontaneously into song with my dear intended?

Oh! What am I to do? The stranger on the street simply will not do. I can't clasp his hands and spin about in a circle. He will stare! Oh the tragedy!
