Skye walked through a corridor of Traverse High, humming a merry tune to herself as she went. She had a spring in her step, her hair bouncing along behind her. She was in a rather good mood with herself today, after spending half an hour picking out something to wear. She'd managed to get all her laundry done the night before, so when she awoke in the morning, instead of just having to throw on whatever clean clothes she had, she could actually chose what she felt like wearing. The freedom made her feel in control, and she liked that.

With her ukulele in hand, she made her way out to the exit of the dorm building. Stepping out into the daylight, her red hair looked like it was on fire. Smiling from ear to ear, heels tapping against the concrete pathway, the girl promptly arrived at the main building. She walked up to the school's bulletin board and checked the list of new students. As it was the beginning of a new term, Skye had been asked to buddy up with a newbie and show them around.

"Kiril Afanassii Abez'iana." she read aloud, frowning slightly. "Hmm."
