“I hail from the kingdom of Iruna, which lays in a valley deep within the northern mountains. It’s pretty much isolated from the other kingdoms.” Maiara gave him a smile they walked towards the front door. As she passed him while he was holding the door open for her she gave him a slight nod. “Thank you.” She gathered a bit of her dress to continue down the stairs and waited from him at the bottom. It was a little hard to think of something to talk about. She had noticed the scar on his cheek, but was unsure if it would be wise to ask about it. Maybe if they got on the topic of sparring it would be more appropriate to ask. “I do not believe my family has ever had dealings with Delritch before. Could you tell me what your homeland is like?”
