Taka smiled down at the boy. "I will always be kind to you for that is what you deserve," he answered staring down into the boy's eyes and hoping that Tomoe would understand that he meant it.

He thought for a moment on Haru's offer and decided that he would try and sleep. He always slept so lightly that if anything happened anyway, he would wake up. "Thank you my friend," he answered Haru, accepting his offer. He settled back against the tree and pulled his cloak around himself and Tomoe.
