Cause there are 6 other available rooms on my floor alone and I have anxiety and trust issues when it comes to sharing my space. I would have gone for a single if this wasn't my first year and the only way I avoided that with my current roommate is that we messaged back and forth for about 2 and half months before we moved in together. So if I must I will room with a new person, but I would rather not put myself under such stress. I'm already stressed from the recent loss of my aunt and now my roommate who was one of my closest friends at college is leaving.
