The two stayed together, just gazing into each other's eyes for another few minutes before Pedro's snoring broke the moment. "I guess we should head to bed too," Tai murmured with a sheepish smile. It had been a long day with them working, but yet it felt so short, not the least bit exhausting like it usually did. He stood, offering a hand to Sophie. "After all, I'm here to stay." They turned to the bedroom, leaving their neko with dreams of mice and guarded purple eyes.

(I wasn't really sure what color Derek's eyes were but the cat image had purple so I just went with that. Let me know if that's fine. ^^; )
