I'll have to thank them for inspiring me to make my own decision this time at such short notice. I kind of had a feeling it would happen anyway soon after they were being mean to me. Thought I could tolerate being there while not being wanted but at the same time I'd rather have a nice New Year's Eve without the stress of it. It only comes once a year and it's a day to remember for a while. I'd rather it be a nice memory rather than a bad one.
