About: Long before Rosemary was born, her grandmother fell in love with a man called Bucky Barnes. She found out she was pregnant after Bucky had gone into service, and raised the child with the intention of telling him when he came back...except he never did. Their child, a daughter, grew up never knowing who her father was. She eventually got married, and had a daughter of her own- Rosemary. When Rosemary was very small, she became deathly ill, and her parents brought her to the hospital. It was at that time that an agent of Hydra working undercover there did some bloodwork and discovered the child's heritage. Her death was faked so that her parents wouldn't look for her, and Hydra commenced experimenting on her. Despite their efforts to trigger a mutation or bring out hidden potential, Rosemary never responded to their experiments and was eventually discarded as useless. Thinking she would die of starvation, they left her on the streets. Rosemary tried to go back to her parents, but learned that they had died in a car accident a year after her supposed death. She was soon found and taken in by an orphanage, where she was raised and schooled until she was old enough to live on her own. She completed four years of college and took a job with Shield as an undercover agent, tasked with keeping an eye on potential recruits. She is trained in hand-to-hand combat, is a weapons expert, and likes to take things apart and put them back together in her spare time. She has created a few handy gadgets for Shield agents to use. Shield is aware of her bloodline, but she still doesn't know.
