Tansy got out of the van, red book in hand, and ushered the Soldier out of the van as well. He got out obediently, standing there with his arms deceptively lax at his sides and watching her for his orders.

"Status?" she asked him quietly. He looked to still be under control, but the status report would let her know if she needed to reinforce the conditioning. It didn't happen often, but sometimes the trigger had to be repeated.
