::Fiction::
The New World - This isn't necessarily referring to the discovery of America, a brand new island nation, or even a world we've necessarily heard of (though it can be, as I do love me some historical fiction). It needs only be about the discovery of some new and different place, that place and its culture, inhabitants, etc. being entirely up to the writer. The goal, to create the most rich and interesting new environment/interactions between the discovering person or persons and those discovered (if any).
Casino Royale - Oh, everyone knows the sort of juicy tales that oft find themselves set in casinos so like our own. The task here is to seek out such things, to tell tales of the what ifs, to add an element of intrigue and danger to the usual tales of cards and slots. Perhaps you know a tale of a man who could not lose or a spy whose appetite for gambling was as insatiable as his appetite for...secrets. Whatever the story, if it features a casino, you'd do well to turn it in here and see if you can't make some winnings off it for yourself.

Martian Poetry - 'Martian Poetry' is a minor British poetry movement from a while
back that focused on describing an object in a new and different way, as though the writer
were just seeing it for the first time and needed to explain it. For example, here
is an excerpt from one of Craig Raine's poems detailing an old time phone.
