Unaware of Shail's discomfort, Gemini waved a hand to dim the candles. They still burned, but now their glow looked more like starlight. After putting the cauldron away and reorganizing her supplies, she walked over to her bed and laid down. Truth be told, she wasn't to concerned about the villagers looking for retribution. They were human, after all, and didn't pose much threat to her. Still, she did wonder if they would come for Shail. She didn't intend to let him go- certainly, she would keep him around one way or another- but she thought it might hurt him if his village simply let him go and did nothing.
