I do wonder, if the site has considered seeing if there would be any pixelists willing to help create new items? Even running a contest for user-made items? It could spark a bit of buzz in terms of artists on the site and such?

Hope this place doesn't end up closing, though. Far too many sites have been permanently closing lately. And they were good sites too. So I hope everything turns out well.
