Ovacinprilcia and Akira were flitting from tree to tree after Audra and Euria when they sensed the presence of other elemental spirits nearby. They paused under the leaves of a grand maple tree to eavesdrop on the conversation going on below them.
"You have books on elementals?" one spirit was asking.
Ovacinprilcia's ears perked up at the sound of it. Books on elementals? It hadn't seen such a volume for many years, having thought that they had all been destroyed or lost. It signaled to its partner, Akira, to follow it as it slipped down into the shadow of a nearby bush.
That was the moment when a confrontation was about to occur.
