Well, who could blame you for wanting a fresh start? With everything that has happened, I am sure that job would be absolutely refreshing. And I believe you can do it! Of course I do. You're Mr. Mayor, of course. But like I said, asking for help would be perfectly alright. Mene could always have a trustworthy vice mayor while you're away doing business.
Or...or! I have a better idea. We can just move Mene to the island. Then you could easily manage the plantation and being Mayor.  I certainly wouldn't mind living there...
