Sitting by the small pond in the park, Sophilia sat at the edge of a tall statue base. The sky had given her a nice break, stopping the rain so that she could eat a pastry before being on her way. Ahh how kind the sky had been.

She leaned against the stone shins of the statue with one leg brought up, her foot resting at the edge of the base in strappy sandals unfamiliar to this dimension. Hazel eyes stared out over the water, watching the trees shift in the wind on the other side of the pond. A raindrop fell. So the sky maybe hated her after all. What a shame that this delicious pastry would get soggy.

Oh well, she needed to be on her way anyway. Places to be, things to steal acquire. She slid off the edge of the statue and took another bite of the raspberry filled tart, then ripped the small remaining part in half, throwing it to the fish. She watched as the pieces disappeared quickly, licking sugar from her fingers.

More raindrops were falling now. The once still surface of the pond looked hazy. Drops of water splashed in as others splashed up. She loved the sound. Sophilia pulled the hood of her half cloak, that covered her to about her hips, over her hair. Her small bag was hidden under the cloak, over one shoulder and across her chest to hang at her right hip.

The bag carried things not of this dimension. Treasures. Her wrap pants were also something of a different type of style for this dimension. But she hadn't found anything worthy of collecting here, so she'd no reason to blend in and worry about being spotted. She hadn't wronged anyone here who might be after her.

Sophilia adjusted the bag and headed towards the exit of the park. She was already reaching with her energy, searching this dimension for its weak spot where she could move into another, better world. This one was totally lame.
