I like both honestly. But the dog gives me a chance to go for a walk and get exercise in that way as well as the gym. Duke and I used to go out for two to three mile walks each day. It was a chance to decompress from the day work and nice alone time. Tell him all my secrets and he never judged. Always happy to see me. I think that's one of the things I love most about dogs, the unconditional love they have for you. Cats can take or leave ya, but dogs, they do love you no matter what.
