I mostly use Paint Tool Sai and sometimes I use photoshop if something needs to be tweaked (like colors n such). The con to Sai is that it isnt as complex as CS3 or anything, but the pro is that it is small in size yet the features are awesome. Its tools give great results. The pen tool for example, it gives such smooth lines which makes the program great for cartooning and making linearts. Having a tablet is highly recommended...for one, its common sense and two...the pressure sensitivity in the program is heavenly. The smudge tool pwns photoshop's, but I prefer to blend by lowering the density of the pen tool. Not to mention, for a program which is as great as it is, Sai is only like 50-something USD.
