I normally use things like Deleter CG Illustrator and Adobe 7. There aren't really any programs I dislike.

Adobe 7 is very flexible, you can basically create anything on there, the only problem I have with it is that I'm not good with handling its pressure sensitivity.
Deleter CG is a lot like Open Canvas, and it's simple and easy to use when creating sketches or clean cg art. It's not very good with pressure sensitivity on the line art and it lacks many useful tools.

Various brushes. Deleter even has a watercolor brush. And then I also texturize.
