The Sir

ind of sad really
the fate of this fello
with just one touch
you'll be putrid jello

he tried very hard
to look like a sir
and with jabot in place
it serves a good lure

"come over here, love
don't mind all these legs
let's go out to lunch
we'll eat ham and eggs!"

all the ladies do know
that something is wrong
but they can't ignore
the lull of his song

and when they reach out
to grab his long arm
it's then that he strikes
and does the most harm

once he's devoured
the slime of his prey
he stands on his legs
and scurries away
