She woke up to the sound of birds chirping. Struggling to remember why she would be so sore and not in bed, she startled to roll over. A hand on hers stopped her. Slowly unwinding herself from him, she stiffly got up and stumbled out of the cave. Once out of sight, she wrapped her arms around her chest. Yeah, she was stiff and a lot more sore. That bruise was really throbbing. Stumbling down to the creek, she knelt down and began to splash water on her face.
