Maiden had stopped time one too many times. Her hold on time started to slip, time began to move and stop like a scratched CD. Her knees began to tremble and her face paled. Realizing her mistake, she held on to time with all her strength while the stranger confronted the angry man holding her. If he could do something, though how he could move when she had stopped time, then perhaps she could avoid getting punched.
