Trey followed Adam into the building, feeling a little cautious. He didn't quite get what Adam meant. At first, he didn't think it mattered and expected them to come to a room where they could lodge, but it didn't seem that was the plan after all. Adam walked with the wrong kind of movement, incomprehensible movement. It took Trey a full minute to realize he stalked. It was nothing like what Trey did and that made it a little fascinating, but he really didn't get it. Not until they they came to the woman's room.

It a heartbeat, Adam killed her and drank his fill. Trey watched from the doorway, his expression unchanged. He long since got used to the ways of a vampire, but it felt strange to watch the act. He never saw anyone feed after all, always being the one to act. Sometime, it looked a little too easy.

After she slid to the floor, Trey stepped up to the body and crouched next to her. Tilting his head, he regarded the woman's lifeless face. Her mouth hung open just slightly, lips a natural red that looked pasty next to the stream of blood. "Does it sound quiet like that? I wonder if it's nice..." For a second, he leaned over her before taking her wrist so he could drink. A tiny person like him had a tiny appetite and seconds later, he already finished and pulled away, looking over to Adam and wondering what he was thinking.
