i was going to say it looks like colored pencils. there's oh... what's it called. a certain brand. They're like 30 dollars for a basic box. But they're really good for colored pencil painting. Regardless, its some beautiful traditonal work. my work with colored pencils is kinda.. "meh nice try"... ^^;; heh

BUT i agree. go without the frame. The frame seems to detract from the image a lot.
