Todd nodded to show that he heard. Then, without another word, he walked off to explore. His first thought was to go outside. It was bright enough out that there wouldn't be too many shadows to bother him, and there was less chance of running into someone. With that thought in mind, the young redhead made his way to the door, hoping to find a a nice quiet place in the sun where he could just relax for a bit.
Rosemary's day was already going downhill. When she got to the animal shelter, she was informed that due to low funding, the shelter was being shut down. All the animals were being moved to other shelters even as she watched. With nothing else to do, she decided to go to school after all. Unfortunately her lick failed her again, as upon entering the school she was told that she had been marked absent already, and that her entire grade had just gone off on a field trip without her. The only place left for her to go was home. She just prayed her parents were gone already.
