February 2nd:

Challenge: Story Time
I overheard this conversation in the food court on campus. These two girl were having a conversation in the booth in front of me and I might as well say that I live in Kentucky, full of a bunch of southerners and rednecks and their southern/country accents. Well, this one girl said, "I couldn't understand this lady with her heavy southern accent. Who speaks like that?!" Like, girl, are you from outside of Kentucky? Are you from the north? Because Kentucky is a southern state. Lots of people speak that way.

~Got consultation for my speech and tried to videotape me practicing but I ran out of time, freaked out when someone was standing outside of the door and frantically gathered my things. He had the room reserved right after me. I am going to check out a video camera I have to use for a class homework assignment and record myself.

~Still gotta come up with an idea for my documentary video project for class as well. It's due tomorrow.
