A heavy sigh.
A frown pulled down the edges of Rei's lips as he watched Yusuke walk away from the table. He brought his eyes back to Naira and shook his head. "You need to watch your own words sometimes Naira." He slowly got up from the table and took a couple steps away before turning back and walking up to Naira, he mussed her hair with a hand before walking away and following Yusuke's path to the bathroom.
Rei found himself standing outside the bathroom door, staring at the patterns ingrained in the wood. He was at fault for what had happened out there as well. He often just let her say whatever she wanted because it was just the two of them most of the time when Rei wasn't here. When he wasn't home. It had never gotten them into trouble before...but then again Naira had never met anyone from Rei's side. All the people she'd met were from Alexis' side, and of course none of them would have wanted to upset the young miss. He'd have to talk to Alexis about getting someone to work with Naira on her social etiquette. She had been telling the truth when she'd mentioned that Rei himself wasn't very good with social events himself.
He took up a position next to the bathroom door. He couldn't bring himself to walk into the bathroom. Instead he'd just have to wait for Yusuke to come out himself.
After the two males had left, Naira pulled at her hair, rearranging it absently as she thought over what had been said. She didn't think that she'd done anything wrong. She'd only spoken what she'd thought. She hadn't meant to be rude. But perhaps she was just as bad with talking to people as Rei was. He was the biggest influence in her life after all... She should probably apologize.
Yusuke had sounded sincere with his words, but he'd run away at the end. Even if he had been upset by what she had said, there was no reason for him to run away. He should have been proud of his own decisions. To be scared of what may have happened from his words took away from the overall feeling of what he had said. Naira did not doubt his sincerity, but she wasn't entirely convinced of his conviction though.
For now, she'd apologize. And maybe find some chance to talk with him one on one, without Rei there. Obviously there were going to be things that neither of them would want to say in front of the man... she'd have to figure plans out later.
