We fill out forms online and send them to the boss for approval before they're 'saved' where we can then use them, though since our boss is so busy he just gave us his account and password where we can go into his account and approve all the stuff ourselves. ;

I think that when he said for me to use my over time to take time off, he was probably thinking I only had a few hours, and not 100+ hours.
