Neller, that's awful! :(

My father was an environmental conservationist for many years and, every summer, we'd always have a bunch of rescued turtles living in our backyard. It was just a fact of life that you'd pull over and pick up one that you spotted on a road. We'd let them go once a few weeks had passed, but it was always fun to keep them for a little while and learn all the different species.
