Oh, my. Is that a Dragonriders of Pern book I see? The series with Mellony, is it? I forget if that's her name, or even the right character for the series. The fisher girl who turns Harper, I think.
Oh how I adore those books. The dragons are absolutely marvelous in them. I like drawing this version of the dragons, and often the one depicted, Ruth;
I could upload in my art gallery an old attempt at the dragons. It was when I was looking at a chart of colors, and the sport colors included black, and that is one of my favored colors. Angry as can be seen from the eyes. How I love the design of those dragons.
