She did not make it to easy as he was guessing she probably would. Twisting within his grip, though her mind at times seemed to be off on other things. She looked back at him, saying that if he had planned on killing her, he would have done it already. True, perhaps it was he who enjoyed playing with her in this little game to a point. His eyes on her as she began to speak of his comment about making her a meal. The words interrupted, with the sound of a buzz and music. He frowned, raising an eyebrow for a moment. What in the world was that? Hearing it come from her, he released one wrist to move his hand to her pocket. From within, he slipped the slender device.

His eyes upon the lit up screen, frowning slightly at the continuation of the music. It was new to him. He was aware that there was technology out there, but he still preferred things the old fashioned way. He knew this device was referred to as a cell phone. A means of communication between people, the man who brought him things had one to keep in contact with friends and customers. A green button upon the screen reading answer, he tilted his head slightly before gently poking it with his thumb. The screen changed a bit and the music cut out. He paused, frowning very slightly more in curiosity than anything at the change. He did not have much experience with such things.

His other hand kept a hold of her for the moment, keeping her against the wall. His frame back enough though, that he could keep out of her reach for a moment with the phone. His eyes moved to her after a moment. "What is the meaning of this?" he asked her. The confrontations from moments before fading away for the moment as he looked at the woman before him against the wall. He let her other wrist slip from his hand, stepping for a moment back from her again. His eyes returning to the device, he turned it a bit within his hands to look at it a bit more clearly. It was different than the one the man had, but he guessed that it was in the end the same sort of device right?
