onions and bacon would be good together for sure, but to jump on the bacon bandwagon, i'm a bacon and pineapple fan myself. it's really the only salty/sweet combination i like at all. i've never had an anchovy on a pizza but i have tasted it before because that is what caeser salad dressing is made from; anchovy paste. i made it once too, which is how i learned what was in it. it's just a salty fishy taste, although i am sure texture would play a part on a pizza
