Alva waited until a shroud of darkness covered the town before leaving the apartment she shared with a human, no less. It was a bit of a strange set up, but she enjoyed venturing out on her own during the night and doing as she pleased, whereas if she shared with one of her own kind she'd never be left alone. Luckily Lilian was one of those students and often had school work to keep her busy so she often overlooked her room mates strange behaviour.

The apartment building was old but still in good shape, the rooms were more than adequate for two people to share and they seemed very popular with students unable to get a room at their school.

Reaching the front door, Alva stepped outside and looked around the almost empty streets around her. The humans had started to notice the disappearances too and many were not so keen on going out after dark which was really no fun at all.
