The trick I found to the tossing - is to throw upwards towards their faces :3
I usually get 2 points doing it like that :3

I myself have one set and some commons, but I'm trying to get a spare set just in case -- I only have 2 of the items though :(
Hopefully I can get the rest tomorrow though - doubtful, but I can try haha
I'll just have to hope work doesn't keep me away most of tomorrow!!
