Asumi's grandmother sighed in short relief when the nurse came out and told them that they could be seen now. She slowly stood and followed the nurse.

Asumi looked over at her grandmother when she entered the room and managed a weak smile. Her grandmother smiled as well and walked to the bedside, gently taking a hand and petting her hair. "I don't think I will be able to take you home tonight... Will you be alright?" She asked her in a soft voice. Asumi nodded lightly, but her eyes told her that she didn't want to be alone. Her grandmother sighed quietly and kissed Asumi on top of her head. "Would you like for me to request for the boy to put in here with you?" She asked softly. Asumi's eyes brighten a little when she looked up at her grandmother and she smiled.

Her grandmother left the room to go make the request since Asumi couldn't very well speak yet. It counted..right?
