Jensen backed off just a touch, settling back against the trunk of a tree when he saw the ginger wolf's expression. What did you expect him to do, lean into it like a pet dog? He shook his dark head, lost in his own reprimanding thoughts; only breaking out of them when he heard a soft growl from the ginger wolf. When he saw the badgers, he relaxed as there was no immanent threat that he needed to address. At least he hoped that Ian in werewolf form could deal with a few badgers.

The night passed slowly and peacefully and even though he didn't sleep, Jensen found the night somehow restful. He looked up in surprise, one dark eyebrow quirking up when the wolf got to its feet and disappeared out of sight behind a tree. He got to his feet, intending to follow, when he heard a very human groan from behind said tree and realized what was happening.

"Sorry about that," Jensen apologized when he realized how he had messed things up for Ian. He pulled off his flannel over shirt and tossed it around the tree to the ginger. "You going to be all right here while I go back for the clothes," he asked. He could back track the way the came no problem and he was pretty positive that he could find his way back to Ian.
