While their master and Seneca slept human servants moved about the castle, cooking, cleaning and keeping a look out. That way if the castle was attacked by day, something could be done swiftly, before harm came to their vampire masters.

There was no way that the wise women had been talking about Seneca, but all the same even Naomi knew the power of the passed down thought the roiled family. But, why would Seneca fight for a vampire?
