Zahur started slightly, blinking a few times. Where was his head today? He hadn't even heard the female Mai's approach at all. For a few moments Zahur watched her curiously, his ears twitching a bit as he became more alert. The winds of change were definitely in the air, he could feel it more now. Stronger, as if whatever change was coming would soon be here. Zahur pushed that thought to the back of his mind, surely it wasn't anything to be worried about. His eyes lingered on the Mai as she spoke, Anubis was opening to the people again. Was that the change he felt?
Something told him, he should speak with Anubis. It was an odd feeling that crept up his spine and into the back of his mind. Zahur was sure he had never met Anubis, so this odd need that he should speak with that God startled him. It was strange. If anything, shouldn't he converse with Bastet? Zahur's gaze lingered on Ain. "You honor me, though I have no gifts for you." He spoke the words softly.
